Gondola Is Now Live in the ChatGPT App Store

Gondola is now live in the ChatGPT app store. Add it once, type @Gondola in any chat, and ChatGPT can search live hotel, flight, and rental car rates, pull in your loyalty accounts and trip history, and book direct, all without leaving the conversation.
Add Gondola to ChatGPT, or watch it work below.
Most AI travel tools start every conversation from zero. You ask for a hotel in London and get back the same generic list anyone would get, with a few third-party links stapled on. The tool has no idea you hold Titanium status with Marriott, have 180,000 Bonvoy points sitting unused, already booked a Hyatt the same week, or that you always take the aisle. That context is the difference between a real recommendation and a search result.
Your travel context, now inside ChatGPT
Gondola keeps a portable travel profile for you, built from your loyalty accounts, past trips, upcoming reservations, and the preferences it learns along the way. Link your email once and Gondola keeps it current in the background.
When you connect Gondola to ChatGPT, that whole profile comes with it. ChatGPT knows which airlines and hotels you prefer, where you hold status, what your points are worth, and what you already have booked. Every recommendation is grounded in who you actually are as a traveler, with live cash and points pricing behind it.
What you can ask
Once Gondola is connected, ChatGPT handles requests like these:
- "Fetch my travel context and tell me who I am as a frequent traveler. What's my favorite seat, how many flights have I flown on each airline, and how should I think about my loyalty portfolio for the rest of the year?"
- "Show me my upcoming trips and tell me where I could save money, earn more points, or rebook smarter. Check whether shifting my dates slightly would help."
- "Find me a hotel in London for August 10 to 12 that I'd actually like. Pull my Member rates, compare cash vs points, and factor in my balances, status, and transfer partners."
No special syntax. Ask the way you'd ask a travel agent who already knows you.
The hard parts
Getting here meant solving a few problems public travel APIs never had to:
- Travel context. A portable profile is the piece almost every AI travel product is missing. Gondola builds and maintains yours through an email integration, so any AI client can pick up the full picture instead of starting cold.
- Search built for agents. Traditional travel systems were never designed for an agent running hundreds of searches on your behalf. Strict look-to-book limits mean naive searching gets throttled fast. Gondola built the infrastructure to search flights, hotels, and rental cars at scale without falling over.
- Booking from the chat. A travel agent has to be able to transact. You can book directly from the conversation with a saved payment method, or pop out to a purpose-built checkout page to confirm. Bookings go direct to the chain, so your points, status nights, and card rewards are all preserved.
It works beyond ChatGPT too
The same engine runs on the Gondola MCP, which works with Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code, and anything else that speaks the Model Context Protocol. One line adds it to Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http gondola https://mcp.gondola.ai/mcp
Full setup for every client lives at gondola.ai/mcp.
Add Gondola to ChatGPT
Add Gondola in the ChatGPT app store, connect your account once, and type @Gondola to get started. It's free, and every booking goes direct to the hotel or airline.
We built this for the way frequent travelers actually move, and we can't wait to see what you ask it first.
